We will be based on the lush and peaceful island of Poros, where you'll enjoy comfortable accommodations and daily excursions on our modern and spacious sailboat. This isn't your typical swimming excursion - you'll be led by a national Olympic swimming champion who will be your coach and mentor throughout the trip. His expertise and infinite passion for swimming will help you improve your technique and reach new heights in your swimming ability.

Every day, you'll have the chance to dive into the Aegean Sea in the morning and explore its stunning waters, reaching a myriad of places you wouldn’t otherwise dream of seeing until early in the afternoon. Whether you're a seasoned swimmer or just starting out, you'll receive a professional assessment right at the start of the cruise and be safely guided, at your own pace, to discover your talent throughout. You'll have the opportunity to try varied swims and visibly advance your technique from day to day. And because your safety is our number one priority, a member of our trained team will be watching over you from a boat during your training to ensure you have everything you need or to take you to the sailing boat in case you would like to rest.

Poros, a tranquil island in the Saronic Gulf's southern part, will be your home base. With a vibrant main town, fascinating history and delicious cuisine, it’s an idyllic place to discover during your 7-day stay. Positioned in the heart of the Saronic, it makes for the perfect starting place for our breezy, salt-bitten cruises to charming nearby islands like Hydra, Spetses, Aegina and Angistri, as well as Epidaurus, with its legendary ancient theatre and remarkable underwater ruins from thousands of years ago. Each place has its own unique splendour, which you’ll be able to admire from the sea and on land. Every day will also include stops at hand-picked, top-quality places for lunch and visits to magical, pristine places that are only accessible by boat. 

Poros is made up of two islands, Sferia, where the main town is based, and Kalavria, which gives it a unique character as it combines the island vibe with the mainland. Its Temple of Poseidon, the Monastery of Panagia Zoodochos Pigis, the Clock Tower and the Russian Naval Base are just some of its cultural charms for you to discover, as are its picturesque backstreets, museums, cafes and stores.

We will kick off your adventure with a gathering at the sailing boat on the evening of the first day. Over drinks, you'll get to know your fellow swimmers (the number of participants on the Swimming Cruise reaches at 10 maximum) and receive your new, complimentary Swimming Cruise cap, along with a briefing on the exciting week ahead.

On the first day of the Swimming Cruise, our coaches will use video to record and analyze your swimming technique and offer personalized advice to set your focus for the week and help boost your performance. Whether you're a seasoned swimmer or just starting out, we're here to apply our expertise to your particular interests and needs, so you can get the most out of your trip and develop the most efficient, dynamic, and injury-free action.

Daily, we will be travelling on a state-of-the-art sailing boat with all the necessary modern comforts and key safety equipment.

During the swims, our expert guides - who are also trained lifeguards and fully qualified in first aid - will provide customised advice to help you improve aspects of your technique and reach new heights in your swimming ability. 

Every day, those staying at the hotel will be treated to a rich buffet breakfast with fresh, local and seasonal foods, snacks and cold refreshments onboard the sailboat and an exquisite lunch (with vegetarian and vegan options) at hand-picked, top-quality tavernas and restaurants along the way. Please kindly note that lunch and dinner are not included in any of our current Swimming Cruise packages.
