Family Special Offer
If you’re looking for an unforgettable family experience in Greece’s magnificent Saronic, book our one week swimming cruise holiday, which comes at a very special rate!
Our team will be able to accommodate every single member of the group so that participants who choose to practise open water swimming or even just go snorkelling will be escorted by our certified swimming coach.
Any members of the group (especially children) choosing to stay behind can relax on our sailing boat or visit the beach, where they will also have the option to receive swimming lessons. Either way, they will be closely watched over by a member of our team for the entire duration of every excursion.
This way, everyone in your family group will be able to enjoy the experience in the best possible way – safely, freely and enthusiastically.
We are also happy to suggest a whole host of other family-friendly activities on Poros and nearby locations, and are happy to help you plan them by offering our know-how and top tips!
Ready to enjoy the best holiday of your life? Upon arrival at Poros Island, you will have the morning to settle into your chosen accommodation and as evening approaches, we’ll convene at Perel Poros cafe.
We will get to know each other over sunset drinks and your swimming coaches will outline the week's itinerary, addressing any queries that may arise. You will also receive your complimentary Swimming Cruise swimming cap and an inflatable buoy that will accompany you on open water swims.
Our trip will begin with an exciting journey to the picturesque Tselevinia islands, traversing the stunning coastline and swimming in pristine azure waters.
Your swimming coaches will divide the group into two categories: beginners and advanced swimmers.
As you swim, coaches will offer a personalised, private evaluation of each participant's swimming technique. To do this, every swimmer will be filmed and then offered a spoken analysis.
Prepare to sail to the ancient past with a visit to the fascinating ancient world of Epidaurus. In the morning, you can take a 20-minute taxi ride (cost, around 20 euros per person), to visit the awe-inspiring 4th-century BC Theatre of Epidaurus (ticket cost, 12 euros) renowned for its exceptional acoustics and flawless beauty. This magnificent theatre is still in use today.
Following a day of enriching cultural exploration, we'll embark on a truly unique swimming experience – swimming over the Submerged Ancient City of Epidaurus and marvelling at the astonishing millennia-old underwater ruins!
Weather permitting, we will set off early in the morning to cruise to Cape Sounio, where one of Greece’s most captivating monuments, the Temple of Poseidon, proudly stands. This awe-inspiring temple, which you can visit after our swim, is dedicated to Poseidon, the God of the Sea. We will swim, immersed in crystalline waters and deep history.
Snacks will be provided for you on board, but you are also welcome to bring a light meal along with you for lunch.
If the weather conditions deter our plans to visit Cape Sounio (we’ll be able to notify you the night before), we have a splendid alternative in store: a swim in the vivid emerald waters surrounding Moni Island across Aegina. This serene haven is home to protected species such as deer and peacocks, which wander freely in their unspoiled habitat! At Moni Island, we will visit a unique lunch spot to refuel surrounded by beautiful scenery.
Our next sailing and swimming excursion will take us towards the lovely islands of Angistri, Metopi, and Kyra. We'll spend the morning hours swimming to our heart's content, pausing briefly for lunch in picturesque Angistri and resuming our swimming after lunch, if you agree to do so.
A delightful bonus to look forward to: In these Aegean waters, there's a high chance of encountering dolphins, either during our cruise or while we swim!
In the afternoon, you're invited to join us for a serene sunset yoga session on the beach, perfectly rounding off an unforgettable day.
Today, we'll set sail for the enchanting island of Hydra, a haven for artists, poets, musicians, and home to awe-inspiring architecture. This glamorous island also played a key role in the historic Greek Revolution of 1821.
In the morning, embrace the opportunity for a stroll through this car-free town, meandering through its charming alleyways and visiting its fascinating museums and shops.
Time flies when you're having a swimmingly good time! Our final swimming session will be in the splendid waters of the Gulf of Poros, along the stretch of the Russian Bay. During this session, you'll have the opportunity to explore the intriguing remnants of the Russian Dockyard. Just across from this historic site lies Daskalio Island, also known as Eros Island, named in honour of the God of Love. This captivating islet serves as the perfect backdrop for our final Aegean escapade.
